This Personal Development Award is accredited by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and covers the high-level transferable skills required by those who design and deliver training.
Who is this qualification for? This course has been developed for people who are training in a vocational setting to give them underpinning knowledge of learning, development and skills in delivering training to groups. It has been developed in partnership with employers and industry and will help employers meet skills gaps and provide continuing professional development for staff, while learners will gain knowledge and skills needed for progression in the workplace.
Grounded Learning Ltd are able to enhance this qualification to include COSCA ethics and Guidance, making it perfect to use alongside COSCA trainer accreditation.
Develop knowledge and understanding of the roles, responsibilities and processes involved in training and developing groups.
Produce objectives and session plans to meet the training requirements of groups.
Identify and develop training resources for use with groups.
Deliver planned interactive group training sessions using a variety of methods.
Review the effectiveness of the training sessions delivered and of own practice using a variety of methods.
Analyse and report on the results of the assessment and evaluation.
Identify your own development needs and create an action plan.
This course is delivered online and combines taught elements and individual support.
This course is run at various times throughout the year: Jan, May and September.
