This course will give you new listening and communication techniques and insights into yourself and others. You are encouraged to explore your own beliefs, ethics, and values throughout the 4 modules and consider the impact these have on you and others. As you learn how counselling skills can be effectively used, you will have the opportunity to develop your own skills in triad practice throughout every module.

The COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills is widely recognised by employers, counselling agencies and training providers/universities and is the entry requirement for our own SQA Customised Award – Diploma in Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy SCQF Level 10 – 246 credits.

This training can also be adapted and delivered directly to organisations. Tailored to the needs of staff working in diverse settings, such as the field of addiction, health, and education.
